Singer Sunmi clarified the situation regarding her first romantic partner and the distance that formed with Park Jin-young.
In the YouTube content 'Salon Drip 2' released on the 2nd, a preview of singer Sunmi's appearance was shared, where she stated, “I really want to clarify” regarding the rumors of her cutting ties with Park Jin-young.
Previously, Park Jin-young appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' and talked about Sunmi's relationship, saying, “I felt frustrated and distanced myself for a while,” which led to the rumors of cutting ties.
At that time, Park Jin-young mentioned, “Sunmi lost her father at a young age and took care of her two younger siblings as the eldest daughter. I have seen that emotion directed towards men,” and added, “That’s when I said I wouldn’t see Sunmi anymore.”
He also stated, “I know that man, and the reason she was attracted to him was maternal love. I distanced myself out of frustration, but now I don’t worry about it anymore.”
