Lee Sol-i, the wife of comedian Park Sung-kwang who is battling illness, has shared her recent updates.
On the 30th, Lee Sol-i took to her social media to answer fans' questions.
When asked if she plans to continue communicating regularly, Lee Sol-i responded, “In these times when information is money and there is a severe imbalance of information, I feel grateful to have a space where I can share what I have realized first. I also think it was a good decision to disclose my battle with cancer. It’s such a precious space, so I want to be here for a long time.”
Regarding her health, she said, “I met with the oncology professor during my last chemotherapy, and I was excited to hear that my hair would grow back, and I might have even more hair than before. He said that because I am so positive, he doesn’t think he will meet me again,” adding, “It seems really important to instill positivity in our hearts. Let’s live positively.”
On her highest weight, she mentioned, “47kg,” and added, “The cellulite on my thighs that developed during that time is still severe, and it really stresses me out. I have a body type that doesn’t gain weight easily and doesn’t lose it easily, so losing weight is not easy for me.”
When asked if she has a consistent personality, she replied, “I think I am relatively consistent. Once I get close to friends, it lasts a long time, and I have worked quietly in one place for a long time.” She also shared, “I had a hard time receiving negative comments after appearing on TV, but seeing that I have been getting along well with friends in this space for nearly five years, I don’t know if it’s tenacity, perseverance, or sincerity, but it seems to be a personality similar to consistency.”
Additionally, she mentioned, “I am taking a break from YouTube for a while. I’m going to Europe in October and want to do some maintenance.”
Lee Sol-i married Park Sung-kwang in 2020. Recently, she revealed that she was diagnosed with female cancer three years ago, which led to the unfortunate news that she cannot have children. She is currently diagnosed as being free of cancer cells after surgery and chemotherapy.
