Former comedian and trot singer Kim Jae-wook showed his concern for his sister who is battling cancer, shedding tears.
On the 21st, Kim Jae-wook appeared as a guest on MBN's cultural program 'Exclusive World'.
On that day, Kim Jae-wook headed to his family home where his parents and sister live after doing some shopping. He introduced his sister, Jae-hee, saying, "You can tell just by looking at her. She’s from our family line," indicating that she resembles him.
While showing a playful and good-natured relationship with his sister, Kim Jae-wook also displayed a meticulous 'sister admirer' side by being particular about her diet, drawing attention.
Kim Jae-wook explained, "My sister used to be slim, but her belly had gotten a bit big. Her stomach was protruding, so we hurried to a big hospital, and it turned out to be sarcoma. The cancer was surrounding her stomach by about 20-30 cm." He mentioned that she had already undergone two surgeries.
Kim Jae-wook expressed his deep affection for his sister, saying, "Tears were flowing down. I cried even while sleeping on my stomach. I cried without realizing it."
Despite his brotherly devotion, Jae-hee's health condition was not good. Kim Jae-wook said, "She had been doing well for about four years, but now she is having her third surgery," adding, "What has appeared this time is not the existing cancer but feels different. It seems to have attached to the kidney," indicating that the cancer had metastasized, evoking sympathy.
