Singer and actress Kwon Yuri has been selected as the ambassador for the Ulsan Ulju World Mountain Film Festival.
On the 18th, the Ulsan Ulju World Mountain Film Festival announced that Kwon Yuri has been chosen as the ambassador for the festival, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Kwon Yuri debuted as a member of the girl group 'Girls' Generation' and has appeared in numerous works including the dramas 'Bossam: Steal the Fate', 'Good Job', 'Parole Officer Lee Han Shin', and the films 'Dolphin', 'Invasion', among others.
The festival organizers stated, "The authentic journey and strong inner self that actress Kwon Yuri has walked resemble the message of challenge and courage that the Ulsan Ulju World Mountain Film Festival aims to convey."
Kwon Yuri expressed, "It is a great honor to be part of the Ulsan Ulju World Mountain Film Festival as an ambassador," and added, "I will do my best to share the warm resonance and meaning of challenge that films convey with many people, and to provide a special experience for the audience."
The Ulsan Ulju World Mountain Film Festival will hold an ambassador appointment ceremony for 'Umphinist' at a press conference on the 20th at the Ulsan City Hall Citizen's Hall.
Kwon Yuri is scheduled to meet the audience as the host at the festival's opening ceremony on September 26.
