The MBC entertainment program 'Radio Star', aired on the 13th, featured guests Cheon Jung-myung, Choi Hong-man, Lee Joo-seung, and Jo Kwon in a special episode titled 'Handling Beautifully (美) Crazy People'.
On this day, Kim Gu-ra mentioned that Lee Joo-seung and Kwon Seung-hwan are close friends, saying, "I heard that he has a favorite guest on ('I Live Alone')." In response, Lee Joo-seung pointed out that Kwon Seung-hwan first appeared on his broadcast as a neighborhood brother, explaining, "The character was good, so he ended up appearing alone. He even won a rookie award."
He also mentioned that when Kwon Seung-hwan received the rookie award at the MBC Entertainment Awards last year, he had an awkward expression, saying, "Kwon Seung-hwan mentioned me in his acceptance speech, so I tried to manage my expression. I didn't want to seem fake since he's a close friend. It resulted in an awkward smile."
What was the first meeting like between close friends Lee Joo-seung and Kwon Seung-hwan? Lee Joo-seung recalled, "We met through other acquaintances. I was so shy that I didn't say a word."
On that day, Kwon Seung-hwan reportedly badmouthed Lee Joo-seung after seeing his reaction. Lee Joo-seung said, "That day in the bathroom, Kwon Seung-hwan was badmouthing, saying, 'That junior XX is acting cool in front of his seniors without saying a word.' When I peeked my face in, he looked embarrassed," which drew laughter.
Lee Joo-seung, who admitted to being very shy, apologized. He explained, "(Kwon Seung-hwan) suggested going camping together. We became close while doing courage training during the camping trip."
Recently, Kwon Seung-hwan attracted attention by revealing that he is a 'building owner'. On the 12th, he stated on his YouTube channel 'Kkotbuni (with Kwon Seung-hwan)', "The villa I live in is indeed owned by my father, and I received it as a gift in 2022, paying all the gift tax. Due to my father's health issues, I am in charge of managing the building."
Regarding accusations of 'poor cosplay', he stated, "I have never pretended to be poor on the show. The building area is about 18 pyeong, approximately 20 pyeong including the outside. Why would I pretend to be poor? I used what I needed while filming, ate, and lived happily."
