After the funeral of the late Lee Min, Crystal of As One posted a heartfelt long message.
On the 10th, Crystal shared on her SNS account, "The past few days have been the most overwhelming time of my life," and expressed her feelings, saying, "My partner who was always by my side when singing, my best friend, my other half... After saying goodbye to Min, I feel like a part of my heart has fallen away."
She continued, "That empty space will never be filled," adding, "'Min' means 'Crystal', we were always a pair. Having lived together for more than half of our lives, breathing, eating, laughing, crying... we shared a true life together as my other half."
She explained her reason for writing, saying, "I didn't intend to post such a message. It was too hard, and even speaking about it was difficult, but thanks to the love and comfort you all sent, I realized that this sadness is not just mine."
She reminisced about Lee Min, saying, "Min was love itself, loved shopping, loved food, laughed a lot, and would wait for hours to eat delicious food. Above all, she always took care of those around her and shared her love generously. She was the warmest soul I have ever met in my life."
Additionally, she expressed her gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank you. Every bit of your love, memories, and warm words have been a great comfort," and added, "Yesterday, we sent Min off well. Now she must be flying freely in a better place," concluding with, "Every day, every moment, I will miss you. My other half, my friend, my family, my other self. Forever As One."
Crystal and Lee Min debuted in 1999 with As One's first album 'Day By Day', receiving great love with hit songs like 'Day By Day', 'No Way', and 'I Want and I Regret'.
Lee Min married a Korean man in Hawaii in 2013 and was active between the U.S. and Korea until she was found dead at her home by her husband on the 5th.
