It has been 21 years since the late announcer Jeong Eun-im passed away.
The late Jeong Eun-im left this world on August 4, 2004, 13 days after suffering a severe brain injury in a traffic accident on her way to work.
She joined MBC in 1992 and was active in various programs such as 'Start Video Travel', 'Deep Water', 'Korean Language Outing', and 'Happy Book Reading'.
From 1992 to 1995 and again from 2003 to 2004, Jeong Eun-im served as the DJ for MBC Radio's 'FM Movie Music', gaining popularity among listeners who were thirsty for movie-related information, even though it aired at 1 AM. Her beautiful voice, calm hosting, deep affection for movies, and profound reflections on life and society attracted many loyal listeners.
Last year, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her passing, MBC Radio produced a three-part special broadcast titled 'Reunion on a Summer Day'. Using high-quality voice conversion technology, they recreated her voice to reminisce about her memories.
