The Democratic Party leader candidate debate will be held on ‘100 Minutes Debate’.
On the 29th at 11:20 PM, the MBC current affairs program ‘100 Minutes Debate’ will feature the Democratic Party leader candidates Jung Cheong-rae and Park Chan-dae (in order of their numbers) facing off.
Today’s ‘Special 100 Minutes Debate’, the last TV debate for the Democratic Party leader election, will be conducted on three topics: politics, economy and society, and diplomacy, security, and trade.
The two candidates are expected to express their views on common questions from citizen debaters in the ‘OX 1-minute debate’ for each topic, followed by three rounds of lead debates.
Meanwhile, with the election of President Lee Jae-myung, the position of the Democratic Party leader has become vacant. In response, the Democratic Party announced on the 4th that it would accept registrations for the party leader and supreme committee (preliminary) candidates. The party leader election will determine the ranking by combining 15% from delegate votes, 55% from party member votes, and 30% from public opinion polls.
