The MBC 'Real Story Investigation' airing on the 24th will reveal the details of the incident surrounding the cost of gender reassignment surgery.
In the case introduced that day, the mother of Do-hyun (pseudonym) raised questions, saying, "My son says he is undergoing gender reassignment surgery, and the cost is a whopping 180 million won."
An unidentified sister claimed, "I paid the entire 180 million won," and even a major figure in the transgender community appeared, stating, "There are more than 20 friends who helped with the gender reassignment surgery."
Regarding the incident, Hari Soo, known as 'Korea's first transgender celebrity,' expressed her anger, saying, "They're talking nonsense with ridiculous claims," while another transgender individual criticized, "They are committing fraud by exploiting desperation."
The broadcast is scheduled for 9 PM on the 24th.
