Chae Ye-rin, an MBC announcer, expressed her guilt for not being able to take care of her child due to the sudden heavy rain warning.
On the 17th, Chae Ye-rin posted on her SNS, "The heavy rain warning that was scheduled for 15 minutes was extended to 61 minutes just before the broadcast."
She explained, "It was the day I was supposed to pick up my first child from daycare, but I went live without being able to make a single call. I didn't have the time to feel sad thinking about my child waiting for a mom who didn't come at pick-up time. I was so immersed in the pouring warning situation that I only realized I hadn't contacted the daycare after finishing the 61-minute broadcast."
Chae Ye-rin also added, "'Am I a bad mom?' I briefly felt guilty and told myself, 'Children need to grow up strong...' I need to hold my child's hand tightly and tell them why I was late and how much I love them."
