Dog trainer Kang Hyung-wook is making a comeback.
Channel A's new variety show featuring Kang Hyung-wook, 'The Time of Dogs and Wolves', has released its first teaser through official social media.
The released video begins with the question, "Is your dog a dog or a wolf?" It quickly cuts to scenes of dogs running wild, creating a sense of tension. In the midst of the chaos, Kang Hyung-wook appears, and the phrase "Kang Hyung-wook is here to fix the problem dog that has turned into a wolf" catches the eye.
'The Time of Dogs and Wolves' is a reality show that goes beyond simple training, examining the owner's attitude and environment behind the dog's problematic behavior. It revisits the relationship between the owner and the dog from the ground up, offering solutions that reflect on the overall pet ownership experience. Kang Hyung-wook plans to visit the site directly to meet with the owners and bring about practical changes.
Last May, Kang Hyung-wook and his wife were accused of workplace bullying and abuse by former employees of their dog training company, Bodeum Company. The couple was sued for allegedly illegally accessing company messages (violation of the Information and Communications Network Act) and was under investigation. As a result, Kang Hyung-wook stepped down from the KBS2 variety show 'Dogs Are Incredible' and halted his broadcasting activities. The Cyber Investigation Unit of the Northern Gyeonggi Police Agency concluded in February that there was no evidence against Kang Hyung-wook and decided not to forward the case to the prosecution.
'The Time of Dogs and Wolves' will premiere on August 5.
