Singer Shin Ji has directly addressed the controversy surrounding her fiancé Moon Won.
On the 8th, Shin Ji opened up on Instagram, saying, "I feel heavy-hearted as it seems my recent marriage news has caused some fatigue among you."
Shin Ji explained, "I apologize for the delay in my response as I needed time to verify the facts regarding various allegations. I have confirmed with my agency that all the allegations are not true."
She also added, "I fully understand the concerns and opinions you have expressed. I will think carefully and pay more attention. I would sincerely appreciate it if you could watch over us with time."

On the 2nd, Shin Ji released a video on her YouTube channel 'How Are You?!?' introducing Moon Won to the members of Koyote. In this video, Moon Won revealed his divorce and the existence of his daughter.
After the video became a hot topic, various allegations surrounding Moon Won emerged online, including rumors of premarital pregnancy with his ex-wife, fraudulent real estate dealings, and assault allegations during his military service.
In response, Moon Won acknowledged on the 3rd that he had operated without a real estate license and that he married due to premarital pregnancy, but denied all other allegations.
Despite this, as the controversy continued, Koyote's agency JG Star issued another clarification on the 8th.
Regarding the allegation that Moon Won conducted real estate business without a license, the agency stated that he was officially registered as a real estate assistant with the registration authority at that time.
They further clarified, "Moon Won was surprised by the revealing comments about conducting business without a license and stated that he would take responsibility for any inaccuracies, but this does not mean he acknowledged any legal wrongdoing."
Regarding the allegations of bullying during his school years and military service, they reported, "We contacted classmates from middle and high school and juniors from his military service, and they all testified that these are false facts."
On the allegations of divorce and infidelity, they stated, "Moon Won had an amicable divorce with his ex-wife. Upon reviewing the divorce agreement, it was confirmed that there were no unpleasant reasons during the process. The infidelity rumors have also been confirmed as false," adding, "His ex-wife has also conveyed her support for both of them to be happy."
Finally, the agency stated, "Since the news of their marriage became known, we have confirmed that many unverified false facts are being spread. We will do our best to protect our artists, and we may consider legal action against those who spread false information or defame their character."
Shin Ji and Moon Won are set to marry in the first half of next year.
