Singer and broadcaster DinDin has urged caution regarding cases of impersonation scams involving his manager.
On the 5th, DinDin posted on his Instagram, "I do not make any reservations through my manager. Everyone, please be careful."
The accompanying photo included a message sent to DinDin. The sender, Mr. A, stated that his mother runs a store and that someone impersonating DinDin's manager had made a group reservation, leading to a scam.
Mr. A continued, "My mother just got discharged from the hospital yesterday and had a hard time preparing everything after receiving the call, so I am very angry," adding, "I am contacting you because I think you should be aware of the impersonation incident to prevent you and others from being victimized."
Recently, scams involving no-shows at restaurants impersonating celebrities and their acquaintances have been rampant. Scammers are posing as agencies, directors, and production staff, requiring special caution.
Meanwhile, DinDin is currently appearing on KBS2's '1 Night 2 Days' Season 4 and EBS1's 'There Are No Bad Dogs in the World' Season 4.
