Actor Shim Eun-woo, who refuted allegations of school violence, greeted the public through her YouTube channel.
On the 5th, Shim Eun-woo posted a video titled "It's been 5 years" on her YouTube channel 'Rest, Eun-woo'.
In the video, Shim Eun-woo introduced herself as an actress and showed signs of nervousness, saying, "I feel a bit shaky and something feels strange."
Believing that there are more people who do not know her, Shim Eun-woo mentioned roles she played in her representative works such as 'The World of the Married', saying, "The love and memories I received back then still remain," and expressed her gratitude to many people.
In addition to being an actress, Shim Eun-woo is also an 8-year yoga instructor, and she shared footage of herself guiding her students in the video.
She also directly mentioned the school violence issue. Shim Eun-woo said, "There was a 'school violence' issue. Personally, I went through a somewhat difficult time, but on the other hand, I think I learned what true rest is."
She continued, "I think it was a time when I rested in true love, and I also reflected a lot on myself and saw my shortcomings," recalling, "It was a difficult time, but I endured it well."

Having taken a break from acting for five years and only attending one audition, Shim Eun-woo expressed, "I hope an opportunity comes for me to show you a good side of myself as an actress again."
Shim Eun-woo suspended her activities in 2021 after being embroiled in allegations of school violence. At that time, person A claimed that she was bullied in middle school because of Shim Eun-woo, to which Shim Eun-woo rebutted, "It is true that we did not get along well, but there was no violence."
As the controversy grew, she apologized, saying, "If I hurt anyone with immature words or actions, I am sorry," but in 2023, she appealed her innocence, stating, "The apology at that time was not an admission of school violence but stemmed from a misunderstanding." Classmate B also revealed that it was she who had a verbal dispute with person A and that the incident occurred because Shim Eun-woo sided with her, lending support to Shim Eun-woo's claims.
To clear her name, Shim Eun-woo made every effort to prove her innocence, utilizing all means including her school records, statements from classmates, and teacher recordings. She particularly filed a defamation lawsuit against person A for false information, but the police concluded there was no wrongdoing, stating that person A did not recognize it as false.
Last month, the legal representative of person A, Daeryun Law Firm, stated in a press release, "All of Shim Eun-woo's complaints have been decided as 'no charges' and this decision is based on the judgment that 'the victim's statement is not false'."
