Doh Kyung-soo and Park Byung-eun will appear on 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator.'
On the 6th, JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' will feature the 'cooking genius' Doh Kyung-soo, who is serious about cooking, and the 'fishing genius' Park Byung-eun, who is serious about fishing, as guests.
Doh Kyung-soo, a 'super fan' of the program who has consistently mentioned 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' since 2016, shares his thoughts on his first appearance in nine years, saying, "I have a great sense of intimacy with the chefs," and "The timing never matched, but my desire to appear remained the same," while smiling shyly.
He captures attention by proving his sincerity about cooking through his actions. Doh Kyung-soo arrives pulling a large cart, which surprises everyone as it contains an icebox he prepared himself. He reveals his deep affection for cooking, stating, "I went to Noryangjin this morning for fresh ingredients," as he usually buys ingredients on the spot to cook. Expectations rise about what seafood he has personally selected and how the fresh ingredients will transform into dishes.
He also shares the behind-the-scenes story of becoming the first idol to earn the title of cook. He obtained a Korean chef certification to apply for the cook position before his enlistment and showcases photos of dishes he made during his certification study, impressing the chefs.
When Doh Kyung-soo recalls, "During my time as a cook, we made 180 servings with four people," the chefs who are also former cooks react in agreement.
In particular, Kwon Seong-jun boasts, "We made 150 servings with two people," while Yoon Nam-no adds humorously, "I am a Lebanon deployment veteran with a competition rate of 200:1," and "I made 700 servings each meal," bringing laughter.
