Former rhythmic gymnastics national team member Son Yeon-jae revealed an incident she experienced after giving birth.
On the 26th, Son Yeon-jae uploaded a video titled “Don’t Look for Me… The Dreamlike Outing of Son Yeon-jae Who Left Home for 3 Hours” on YouTube.
That day, while taking care of her 16-month-old son alone, Son Yeon-jae got a brief moment of freedom with the help of her mother and went shopping at a department store with a friend.
Since she had to go home soon, Son Yeon-jae hurried and had a meal with her friend at the food court, eating rice balls. After the meal, while choosing side dishes that her husband likes at a side dish store, an employee approached Son Yeon-jae and said, “Didn’t you eat here? The payment hasn’t been made. Please come and pay.” She had forgotten to make the payment.
After finishing shopping, Son Yeon-jae's friend jokingly said, “Hurry up and tell the story of how you almost became a thief,” which made everyone laugh. Son Yeon-jae replied playfully, “I’m too embarrassed to share it on YouTube. I didn’t even pay, and I left my wallet there. I think they let me go because I left my wallet.”
She continued, “I almost got reported to the police. What if I had really gone?” expressing her frustration, “There are days when a person becomes strange. I’m not usually like this… I guess the saying that you lose your brain when you give birth isn’t just a saying.”
Son Yeon-jae married a financial worker who is 9 years older than her in 2022 and gave birth to a son in February of last year.
