Jung Yup (48), a member of the vocal group Brown Eyed Soul, has welcomed a son after 5 years of marriage.
On the 19th, a representative from his agency Innexttrend (Longplay Music) stated to Maeil Business Star Today, “Jung Yup's wife gave birth to a son on the 5th. Both the mother and child are healthy.”
He added, “I became a father a bit late, and while I have some worries, I will raise him well with a grateful heart and prayers,” conveying Jung Yup's sentiments.
Jung Yup married a non-celebrity who is 7 years younger than him in 2020, whom he met at church. At that time, Jung Yup announced his marriage through a fan cafe, saying, “I once said on the radio, ‘I won’t have a wedding,’ but we decided not to have a wedding ceremony and instead have a small worship time with just family.”
Debuting in 2003 as part of Brown Eyed Soul, Jung Yup gained popularity with hit songs such as ‘Did I Really Love You’, ‘My Everything’, and ‘Soul Free’. He also enjoyed popularity with his solo song ‘Nothing Better’.
