DJ Soda has revealed her hair condition on SNS, which is close to being shaved due to the side effects of bleaching.
On the 17th, DJ Soda posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, “The hair salon ruined my hair.”
The photo clearly showed her hair condition, which is close to being shaved. In particular, the back of her head had clumps of hair missing, making it even more shocking.
DJ Soda explained, “Were you surprised when you saw the photo? I tried to make a surprise transformation to blonde after finishing my tour and returned to Korea to bleach my hair at the salon I usually go to, but I left the bleaching process for too long, and it went wrong, causing my hair to melt from the roots.”
She continued, “In the end, the entire back and side of my head became shaved. I originally had thick and healthy hair that I had been taking care of for three years without bleaching, so this is the first time it has happened.”
She also shared, “Many people who have seen me at events or performances are surprised, and I am also upset. Every day, when I see my hair falling out in clumps, my heart races, and I haven’t been able to sleep properly for two weeks, and I keep crying. It really breaks my heart every time I see my hair in videos taken by fans or in the mirror.”
DJ Soda stated, “Since I have a job in front of the public, I am trying every possible method, but my hair keeps falling out, and it is said that even hair restoration procedures are difficult because my hair is broken to about 3mm. They say it will take over two years to grow back. I am barely managing to cover the ugly parts with the remaining hair. I am in a state of despair, unable to do anything, and I am cautiously informing everyone about my condition, as you may be surprised when you see my hair in the future.”
She added, “I will not give up and will work hard to find a way to show you my beautiful self. Please, do not end up like me, and since bleaching greatly depends on the skill of the hairdresser, make sure to do enough research and get treated by a bleaching expert.”
Afterward, DJ Soda posted again, targeting the hair designer responsible for her hair. She said, “After ruining someone else's hair, you didn’t contact me for three weeks, and only after seeing my Instagram post did you finally contact my manager.”
