Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has reportedly expressed anger and sadness over the news of his daughter Shiloh's name change.
According to local media including People magazine on the 3rd (local time), Shiloh attended a fashion brand event in Los Angeles on the 29th of last month as an original dancer, participating under the name Shi Jolie.
Shiloh submitted a petition last May on her 18th birthday to use only her mother's surname, which was approved by the Los Angeles Superior Court in August of last year. As a result, her name was changed from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.
In this regard, a representative for Brad Pitt told People in an interview at the time, "Pitt is angry about his daughter's name change," adding, "He knows that his daughter has removed his surname. He has never felt greater joy than when his daughter was born. He has always wanted a daughter. Facing the fact that he has lost his children is not easy for him. He loves and misses his children. It's a very sad thing."
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie signed a divorce settlement on December 8 after an 8-year legal battle. They have Shiloh, as well as Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
