In the first and second episodes, Noh Mujin, who lost all his wealth due to coin investment and is separated from his wife, opens a labor attorney office, and the events that unfold are depicted. Having hit rock bottom, Noh Mujin starts a business with his sister-in-law Na Hee-joo (played by Seol In-ah) and creator Ko Gyeon-woo (played by Cha Hak-yeon), who runs the ‘Gyeon-jjang TV’ channel.
The three visit factories where industrial accidents are frequent to provide consulting and work to obtain appropriate compensation from the unscrupulous boss. However, Noh Mujin faces a sudden accident at the factory and is on the brink of death, during which he meets a young guardian (played by Tang Jun-sang) and narrowly survives. Instead, he is forced to sign a ‘Special Labor Attorney Appointment Contract’ to help a wronged spirit achieve peace.
After overcoming the death crisis, Noh Mujin, who can now see ghosts, along with office manager Na Hee-joo and Ko Gyeon-woo, forms ‘Mujins’ to take on the requests of ghosts who were victims of safety accidents but suffered due to concealment and manipulation, aiming to uncover the truth.
