Trot singer Jung Dong-won (18) revealed his home, which he purchased two years ago without a loan.

On the 22nd, a video titled 'First Reveal! / Dong-won's Dream House' was released on Jung Dong-won's YouTube channel.

Jung Dong-won stated, "I have never revealed my home since moving in, but since this is my channel, I decided to open everything up this time," as he showcased his house.

In 2023, at the age of 16, Jung Dong-won purchased an apartment in the mixed-use complex, Mesenapolis, located in Mapo-gu, Seoul, for around 2 billion won. This 57-pyeong apartment boasts a view of the Han River and is also home to Im Young-woong.

Jung Dong-won's home was decorated in a modern black and white style. The kitchen, living room, and master bedroom were all neatly organized, catching the eye.

Jung Dong-won humorously remarked, "I think I was still going through puberty when I did the interior design. I had this strange thought that I needed to look like a 'manly man,' so I made everything black at that time. I sometimes regret it," which elicited laughter.

As a high school senior preparing for exams, the production team asked Jung Dong-won, "Don't you have a computer desk or a study? You're a college entrance exam student, so please show us your desk." In response, the 'study room' he revealed turned out to be a gaming room.

After a brief hesitation, Jung Dong-won said, "It's not a desk for studying for the college entrance exam, but I can study here if I want to. I can read books if I want to," which made everyone laugh. The desk he revealed had two computers set up for gaming side by side. The production team jokingly noted, "Interestingly, there isn't a single book here."

Jung Dong-won also expressed, "I lived in poverty in the countryside when I was young. I always thought that if I succeeded, my dream would be to have my own home. This is my first home, and I feel a lot of attachment to it."

He continued, "The house I used to live in was a family shrine (a house built for ancestral rites). We lived there because we didn't have a house, and I ended up in debt, so my family lived in a small room next to a café building in my hometown. That was the house that appeared on 'Human Theater,'" he explained.

He added, "It wasn't a very well-off house. My younger sibling and I always had the mindset of 'I want to buy my own house without debt when I earn a lot of money later.' So, the moment I bought this house was truly the most fulfilling. My younger sibling came to Seoul, looked around the house, and stayed over, and I felt proud. Even when others say they envy me, I don't care, but when my family says, 'You've raised him well,' or 'You've succeeded,' I feel really proud," reiterating his pride in owning the house he had dreamed of.
