Actor Ahn Jae-hong's photoshoot has been revealed.
The photoshoot featuring Ahn Jae-hong, the lead of the movie ‘Hi-Five’ set to be released on the 30th, has caught attention.
After completing the photoshoot, Ahn Jae-hong described the film in an interview, saying, “‘Hi-Five’ is a really refreshing and exhilarating movie, like riding a roller coaster,” and added, “I feel nervous as the release approaches, but since it was a joyful project, I am looking forward to it being shared with the world.”
He continued, “Personally, the most exhilarating moment was the thrill of team play, and I hope the audience watching the movie can feel that too.”
He also shared, “Thanks to director Kang Hyung-cheol of ‘Hi-Five,’ who led everyone with his gentle charisma and became the focal point, everyone could naturally and engagingly immerse themselves and have a lively experience on set.”
Ahn Jae-hong spoke about his character Park Ji-sung in ‘Hi-Five,’ saying, “Ji-sung’s superpower is strong wind, and I wanted to bring an image that comes to mind through the character's name,” and added, “I grew my hair with the desire to intuitively show the superpower of strong wind.”
He further revealed the special attention he paid to his superpower acting, stating, “I tried to adjust the density and intensity of the wind according to the situation,” and explained, “In moments where a short gust is needed, I acted in sync with the wind machine, pushing it out strongly.”
In an interview with ‘Singles’ 11 years ago, Ahn Jae-hong mentioned, “If my goal is to act hard, enjoyably, and accurately, then that is my goal.”
When asked what his goal is now, Ahn Jae-hong replied, “I am surprised that I said this 11 years ago, and I am also surprised that my feelings haven’t changed at all,” and added, “Now, I want to act well, enjoyably, and accurately.”
When asked, “What does it mean to act accurately?” he responded, “I think it might be a really important point. Acting accurately means wanting to get as close as possible to the scene and the emotion without overflowing or falling short. Of course, the word ‘accurate’ might not be truly accurate, but still.”
The photoshoot and interview with Ahn Jae-hong can be found in the June issue of Singles and on their website.
