Comedian Park Bo-mi has announced that she is pregnant with her second child.
On the 22nd, Park Bo-mi posted on her SNS, “A sibling for Timoni (Simon) has come!” The accompanying photo included a pregnancy test and an ultrasound image.
Park Bo-mi introduced, “A lucky charm that came to me during the snowy Lunar New Year! The baby’s nickname is ‘Seolboki’.”
She explained, “After sending my beloved Simon to heaven, I experienced two miscarriages. During that time, I started in vitro fertilization, and through that process, I deeply realized that carrying a life is not something to be taken for granted or easy; it is truly a precious and miraculous experience that cannot be fully expressed in words.”
She continued, “I experienced morning sickness this time, which I didn’t have with my first child, and every day has been cautious and filled with anxiety, swinging back and forth like a worry doll, but now I am already in my 19th week, and Seolboki is growing healthily.”
Park Bo-mi expressed, “I am really happy to share this joyful news with you all,” and added, “I sincerely thank everyone who has prayed for me, supported me, and waited for good news.”
Park Bo-mi married soccer player Park Yo-han in 2020 and welcomed her son Simon in 2022. However, in May 2023, she faced the loss of her son. At that time, Park Bo-mi revealed on SNS, “Simon went into cardiac arrest due to sudden heat stroke. After 40 minutes of CPR, he is miraculously still alive for his family,” and expressed her desperate need for prayers. Despite the support and prayers from fans and colleagues, her 15-month-old son ultimately passed away.
