Jeong Hyun-kyu, who appeared on the Netflix variety show ‘Devil's Plan: Death Room,’ apologized after facing criticism.

On the 14th, Jeong Hyun-kyu posted the phrase “I’m sorry” on his Instagram profile.

Previously, the profile stated “Not Park Hyun-kyu,” but it seems he posted the apology after the ongoing criticism.

In the Netflix variety show ‘Devil's Plan: Death Room,’ which was released on the 13th, Jeong Hyun-kyu provoked model Choi Hyun-jun, who graduated from KAIST and formed an alliance with him, by saying, “Can you do math? Shall we try some math?” when he didn’t act according to his wishes.

Some pointed out that referring to professional poker player Seven High as “Poker Sir” was also rude. On the other hand, there were reactions defending Jeong Hyun-kyu, stating that he was just being true to the survival variety show.

Jeong Hyun-kyu gained attention for his appearance in the Tving variety show ‘Love Transition Season 2,’ which was released in 2021. He is currently active as an influencer.

‘Devil's Plan: Death Room’ features intense competition and psychological battles to determine the best brain player, depicting conflicts, alliances, and betrayals for survival, showcasing various human figures within a community. Players from various professions stay together for seven days to determine the best brain in this brain survival show. The final episode will be released on the 20th.
