Singer G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong, 37) will participate in a talk show related to AI (artificial intelligence).

According to Galaxy Corporation on the 8th, G-Dragon will hold a special talk show on the theme of 'The Future of AI Entertainment Tech' at 'Innovate Korea 2025' on the 9th, in collaboration with his agency and AI entertainment tech company, Galaxy Corporation. Here, G-Dragon is expected to present his vision for AI and the future entertainment industry.

This forum will be a festival where attendees can enjoy the evolution of AI, tech, science, and entertainment, with G-Dragon's special talk show as the main event, along with talks from Choi Yong-ho, Chief Happiness Officer of Galaxy Corporation, Lee Kwang-hyung, President of KAIST, Professor Kim Sang-kyun from Kyung Hee University, actor and CEO Lee Jung-jae, and demonstrations of wearable robots.

Previously, G-Dragon attended 'Innovate Korea 2024' last year, where he met with KAIST students. At that time, he mentioned, “It’s a secret, so I can’t reveal it yet,” regarding what he would like to do with KAIST, but added, “I learned a lot about things that can only be known once the product is completed. Listening to the process of developing certain technologies and the direction we want to go with these technologies made me think, 'How can I integrate this?' I am very excited to see that the technology is more complete than I expected.”

G-Dragon was appointed as a special professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST in June last year. KAIST invited him as a special professor with the aim of integrating the latest science and technology into K-content.

Since signing a contract with Galaxy Corporation in 2023, G-Dragon has shown interest in AI-related activities. He has consistently expressed his interest, including attending the world's largest electronics-IT exhibition 'CES 2024' held in Las Vegas, USA, last January.

Galaxy Corporation signed an MOU with KAIST last year to promote the global expansion of K-pop and plans to lead innovation in the AI entertainment tech industry through collaboration with its artist G-Dragon.
