MBN, celebrating its 30th anniversary, is revamping its production programs.
On the 4th, MBN announced, “As part of the 30th anniversary project, we will implement a production revamp following the news revamp,” adding, “With the arrival of the fresh spring, new faces will be visiting homes.”
The first broadcast of ‘You Have to Run to Live’ will air on the 19th at 8:20 PM. This is a large-scale marathon entertainment program where stars, who are active in various fields, challenge themselves to a marathon with their own heartfelt stories, overcoming their wounds and limitations. Sean, known as the ‘Marathon Angel,’ and Lee Young-pyo will lead the running crew, with Bae Seung-jae and Yang Se-hyung as the commentators.
The MBN political talk show ‘Pandora’ will also be revived on the 7th at 10:10 PM. MBN reporter Song Joo-young has been selected as the new host. ‘Pandora’ explores the behind-the-scenes of politics with political experts and simplifies the issues that are pouring in.
Prior to this, ‘Living Report’ (every Wednesday at 10:20 PM), which started broadcasting on March 26, is a guide program for those who want to live abroad. It has received great responses by presenting tailored living guides for various clients based on their conditions and purposes. The MCs are Kim Sung-joo, Lee Ji-hye, and Jay Seon.
Long-standing regular programs on MBN are also getting a makeover. ‘Dongchimi,’ which has been resolving various stories with participants for 13 years, will be reborn with everything changed except for the program name. It will be revamped into a three-MC system with Kim Yong-man, Lee Hyun-yi, and Enok, and changes will be made to the set and format. The first episode of the revamped ‘Dongchimi’ will air on the 19th at 11 PM.
‘Saengsaeng Information Yard,’ which has provided various lifestyle information on weekdays, transformed into ‘Every Morning’ (every Monday to Thursday at 9:30 AM) starting from the 1st. MBN announcer Jang Hye-seon, MBN announcer Han Hye-won, and comedian Lee Jung-soo will bring a lively morning.
Additionally, the music show ‘Hanil Top Ten Show,’ featuring members from ‘Current King of Singers 1’ and ‘Korea-Japan King of Singers Competition,’ has changed its schedule to Tuesday nights at 9:50 PM since March 25, with new members from ‘Current King of Singers 2’ joining. After the schedule change, it has been continuously breaking its own viewership records and is sailing smoothly.
Kim Si-jung, head of MBN’s production department, stated, “Given the difficult times, we have prepared programs that allow viewers to laugh and find comfort more easily,” and added, “Please look forward to the newly revamped existing popular programs.”
