Baby V.O.X's Gan Mi-yeon has joined as an ambassador for products made by people with disabilities.
On the 3rd, Gan Mi-yeon stated through Moko Entertainment, "As a citizen, I was surprised to see these products," and added, "With the best quality and the consideration of a professional mentoring team, over 180 diverse and good products are being sold. I hope for a lot of interest."
According to Moko Entertainment, a sales and promotional market event for products made by people with disabilities will be held on the 9th and 10th at Cheonggye Plaza in Seoul, hosted by the Korea Association of Vocational Rehabilitation Facilities for the Disabled and the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
As a former Hallyu star and currently active with Baby V.O.X, Gan Mi-yeon has been confirmed as an ambassador for products made by people with disabilities and is expected to serve as a mentor for 811 vocational rehabilitation facilities for the disabled nationwide. To expand the private market for products made by people with disabilities, a private promotional group called DDF (Dreams of people with Disabilities_Friends) has been formed, consisting of "Disabled," "Dream," and "Friends," and she is scheduled to participate as one of its members.
In addition to Gan Mi-yeon, the event will also feature participation from Mountain Movement Story, Soongsil Cyber University, The Bake, and the DDF promotional group. They have promised cooperation in various areas, including purchasing and promoting products made by people with disabilities, joint marketing and promotional activities to expand the B2C market, and support for improving the quality and design of production facilities.
The DDF (Dreams of people with Disabilities_Friends) promotional group, consisting of 20 members, will continue online promotional activities to introduce products made by people with disabilities and improve awareness, alongside singer Gan Mi-yeon, targeting citizens interested in these products.
