The Broadway's biggest blockbuster musical 'Wicked' has revealed its cast ahead of its opening in July. The anticipation for the long-awaited performance, which has been 13 years in the making, is heightened with a top-notch cast of 33 members.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Broadway premiere in 2023, the tour has successfully led to performances in Singapore after Australia, receiving acclaim for nearly three years. The actors, with their already established chemistry, add to the trust in the production. The cast selected through a comprehensive audition process are the main characters who complete the fantastical world. With remarkable synchronization and talent, Elphaba and Glinda, along with veteran actors with solid acting backgrounds and energetic newcomers, create an emerald synergy. The role of the ambitious blonde good witch 'Glinda' is played by the outstanding entertainer Courtney Monsma, who is gaining attention as an actor and artist in various fields. He fell in love with the message of the musical 'Wicked', which he saw for the first time, considering it a life-changing work. He is praised as 'the epitome of Glinda' for his acting skills that perfectly embody the character and his clear voice, surpassing his own dreams. The role of Madame Morrible, who oscillates between good and evil, joy and eeriness, is played by Jennifer Vuletic. It will open on July 12 at the Blue Square Shinhan Card Hall, with performances in Busan at Dream Theater in November and in Daegu at Kyemyung Art Center in January next year.
