Actor and singer Lee Junho colored the night in São Paulo with intense passion and love from fans, concluding his fan concert tour with a spectacular finale.
On the 1st and 2nd of this month (local time), Lee Junho held the '2025 Lee Junho Fan Concert Midnight Sun in São Paulo' at the Vibra São Paulo in Brazil. This was Lee Junho's first visit to Brazil, where he gifted local fans a dreamlike experience, fulfilling their long wait and creating unforgettable memories.
At the press conference held a day before the concert, major Brazilian news portals and digital platforms such as Portal Leo Dias, QUEM, Cláudia, Jovem Nerd, and TV broadcasters like Fofocalizando (SBT), RedeTV, RIC TV, and Play TV attended, showcasing a heated interest in the event. Lee Junho's starring role in the JTBC drama 'King the Land' has topped Netflix's global top 10 in the non-English TV category three times and has reached the number one spot in 21 regions worldwide, including Brazil, drawing significant attention to his first visit to the country.
Lee Junho expressed his feelings about his first visit to Brazil, saying, "I heard that many fans in Brazil were waiting for me, and I really wanted to come. I had heard that Brazil is a beautiful, passionate, and hot place, and it was just as I had heard. I was surprised and delighted by the warm cheers from fans as soon as I arrived at the airport." He also added, "Since this is a fan meeting and concert, it is a performance that we complete together with the fans. I expect it to be a hot performance because the Brazilian fans are showing very passionate reactions."
Questions about the popularity of the drama 'King the Land' followed. Lee Junho stated, "I feel very good that Korean dramas are loved worldwide, and I am happy that 'King the Land' has also been loved by many thanks to that love. I cautiously think that the result of everyone putting their heart and soul into filming is what truly resonates with the viewers. I am grateful that our drama and content are being loved, which has allowed me to come to Brazil, and I would like to come back often if I have the opportunity in the future."
As expected, the São Paulo fan concert was a hot performance completed together by the passionate Lee Junho and enthusiastic audience. Taking the stage amidst loud cheers, Lee Junho started with 'Frozen Heart', followed by a parade of his original songs including 'Nothing But You', 'CANVAS', and 'Fire', as well as long-awaited performances of 'Winter Sleep' and 'Last'. In particular, the upgraded version of 'INSANE' and 'Pressure' showcased a restrained sexiness, and during the cover stage of J.Y. Park's 'Kiss', the audience's explosive reaction was unprecedented.
"Welcome to 'Midnight Sun'. I truly wanted to see you," Lee Junho greeted the audience, engaging in conversations with fans in the local language during the talk segments and enhancing intimacy with various talk corners. He shared his impressions of visiting Brazil for the first time, boasting numerous sights, activities, and foods, and even took photos wearing a Rio Carnival mask, introducing the connection that his name 'JUNHO' is spelled the same as the word for June in Portuguese. He also reenacted a proposal scene from 'King the Land' with a fan and read messages written by fans before the performance, fulfilling their requests and expressing his love for them.
The audience created a spectacular scene by singing 'Nobody Else' in Korean together, and they moved Lee Junho with heartfelt slogans and video events.
As the concert concluded, Lee Junho expressed, "I am happy to conclude the fan concert tour here in São Paulo, Brazil. I am truly grateful to the Brazilian fans who love me as a singer and an actor. While it is morning for me, it must be evening for you, and I will always think of you waiting for me on the other side of the world. Thank you for your warm hospitality, and I will definitely come back next time."
