Oh Seong-hoon, a former member of the hip-hop group People Crew and a composer, has become a star in the sky.

The funeral service for the late Oh Seong-hoon will be held at 1:30 PM on the 5th at the Kyowon Yeoum West Seoul Funeral Home in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Oh Seong-hoon passed away at the age of 45 in a recording studio on the morning of the 3rd. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Friends were shocked by the sudden news.

Singer Jaysera, who sang the song "Love Confession Happiness" composed by the late Oh Seong-hoon, expressed her condolences on her social media, saying, "There have been so many incidents and accidents lately, and I sincerely hope everyone is safe and at peace," and added, "Oh Seong-hoon, the composer who left behind countless masterpieces that are hard to list. I hope you find peace there. May you rest in peace."

MC Mong, who was close to the late Oh Seong-hoon as a member of People Crew, also expressed his affection, saying, "I will take on the honor of being a respected composer in your place. I promise to fight and win the lawsuit you were involved in. I will definitely find your honor and see you again, Seong-hoon. I am so, so sorry, and I am so, so hurt and in pain. I really love you, my friend. I forgive you for lying about your age, saying you were 79 when you were actually 80. I love you."

Oh Seong-hoon was active as a prominent b-boy in "Moonlight," which produced talents like Lee Joo-no and Kang Won-rae, and debuted in 1997 with the group People Crew, working closely with MC Mong. He later became more known as a composer and lyricist than as a singer.

He co-composed "Love 119" with Cho Young-soo, and composed the theme song "Sad Heart" for the drama "Bad Love," KCM's "Sad Snowman," Shin Hye-sung's "Age," and MC Mong's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Mong." He also wrote lyrics for SG Wannabe's "More than the Music of The Beatles" and Brian's "Living a Year in Winter."

The late Oh Seong-hoon will rest in peace at the Seoul City Crematorium.
