Kim Soo-hyun, who played Baek Hyun-woo in 'Queen of Tears', which recorded the highest viewership ratings in tvN drama history at 24.9% (28.4% in the metropolitan area), graced the cover of the Korean edition of the men's fashion & lifestyle magazine 'Esquire' in collaboration with the Italian luxury brand Prada.
The actor Kim Soo-hyun, who is set to create another wave as Kim Sung-jun in the upcoming Disney+ original series 'Knock Off', stated, "Honestly, I was nervous since it was my first photo shoot in a while, but the atmosphere on set was so friendly that it helped me," adding, "I was surprised to see that the outfit I was most worried about looked great on the monitor."
He continued, "One of the most memorable filming scenes from 'Queen of Tears' was when my senior Kim Jung-nan, who played the role of Beom-ja, appeared at my grandmother's ritual saying, 'Beom-ja has arrived.' I think it was memorable because most of the actors were gathered in that scene. The scenes where everyone was together tend to stick in my memory, and it was so much fun that I had to hold back my laughter because everyone was so good at ad-libbing."
Having excellently portrayed comedic acting in 'Queen of Tears', he recently recalled his favorite domestic comedy performance, saying, "I think of my senior Yoo Jae-myung, who played my character's father in 'Knock Off.' I was amazed at how he could deliver captivating performances regardless of any variables that arose on set."
'Knock Off', featuring Kim Soo-hyun and Jo Bo-ah, is considered one of the most anticipated projects on Disney+ for 2025. He mentioned, "I think we've filmed about half of the shooting schedule. I can't reveal everything now, but there was a special encounter during the local shoot in Hong Kong," piquing curiosity.
