Yoon Do-hyun, the vocalist of the band YB and a musical actor, is recovering after his health deteriorated again following his recovery from rare cancer.
On the 2nd, Yoon Do-hyun posted on his personal channel, "It's truly a struggle to survive." He is focusing on recovery for the upcoming musical "Gwanghwamun Sonata."
Earlier, on the 1st, the production company CJ ENM announced, "Due to health reasons (type A flu) for actor Yoon Do-hyun, who plays the role of Myung-woo, we regret to inform you that the casting has been changed as follows."
The production company stated, "We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the sudden casting change. We wish for a speedy recovery for actor Yoon Do-hyun," and asked for the audience's understanding.
Yoon Do-hyun is scheduled to return to the stage today (the 3rd).
"Gwanghwamun Sonata" is a jukebox musical composed of songs by Lee Young-hoon, themed around life, love, and art, depicting Myung-woo's journey to find a moment he wishes to return to before he dies, along with his time-traveling guide, Wol-ha.
