A photoshoot featuring actress Jung Yoon-ha has been released.
Jung Yoon-ha collaborated with ‘At Style’ for the January issue.
In the recently released Netflix series ‘Trunk’, Jung Yoon-ha plays the role of Lee Seo-yeon, the ex-wife of Gong Yoo, leaving a strong impression on viewers worldwide.
Regarding the hot response that ‘Trunk’ received, ranking first in the domestic top 10 series just two days after its release, Jung Yoon-ha expressed her gratitude, saying, “I think ‘Trunk’ was the first work of my acting life. I am incredibly thankful for the positive reception.”
When asked why she refers to ‘Trunk’ as her first work despite being a prolific actress, she explained, “I have done many projects, but this is the first time I acted in such a long format in the media. It was a significant pressure, but I believe I am the biggest beneficiary of this work.”
She continued to express her admiration for her co-stars Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun-jin, saying, “It felt like watching an ‘acting magic show’. It was awe-inspiring throughout our collaboration.”
Although she seems like a rising star in the film and OTT industry, Jung Yoon-ha is actually an actress with 18 years of experience this year. Despite a long period of obscurity, she never gave up on her dream of acting, stating, “Being an actress is a profession that requires a long wait, and I didn’t want to waste that time, so I tried various things. I think I lived in a whirlwind.”
Jung Yoon-ha is proficient in four languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, and has mastered shooting, golf, and free diving. Her hobby is analyzing successful films. During her study abroad, she participated in the Miss Korea pageant in New York and circulated her profile while going back and forth between Korea and the U.S. After her acting debut, when she had no projects, she attended an action school and gained various unique part-time job experiences, filling her life entirely with preparations for acting.
This year, Jung Yoon-ha became a ten-million-view actress with the film ‘The Burial’ and renewed her career with ‘Trunk’, successfully capturing both the film and OTT markets. Expectations are high for her next steps as she begins to shine after ending her period of obscurity.
