Coupang Play's entertainment show 'University War' has quickly confirmed the production of Season 3, just two episodes before the final episode of Season 2.
'University War' is a 100% pure reality brain battle survival where the top 1% of true geniuses from South Korea's prestigious universities compete using only their brains.
Currently showcasing up to episode 6 and racing towards the latter half of Season 2, 'University War' quickly became the number one popular show in its first week of release, capturing the viewers' attention as soon as it opened. Following this, the enthusiastic response every week and the viewers' strong support for a long-term season system led to the rapid confirmation of Season 3 production.
Coupang Play has successfully established 'SNL Korea' as the best comedy show in South Korea for six seasons, receiving consistent love from fans. Following 'SNL Korea', 'University War' is also expected to become a beloved series with a fresh format and unexpected competitions.
Season 1 of 'University War' opened the glamorous curtain of brainical survival with the participation of the world's top university, Harvard, known as 'Sokapoyongo', while Season 2 upgraded the narrative on a global scale with the addition of Oxford and MIT, reorganized as 'Seogoyonkapo'. Season 3 is anticipated to return with upgraded rules and overwhelmingly intelligent participants, even compared to the 'unprecedented difficulty' of Season 2.
The competition for participants in Season 3 is expected to be even fiercer than in Season 2.
