Former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin made her first official appearance after her resignation.
On the 6th, Min Hee-jin took the stage at the concert 'Women Who Became Genres' held at Dream Plus Gangnam in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
On this day, Min stated, “Living with conviction is not easy. I face a lot of attacks,” and added, “I get attacked even with things that are not true, and I can't say every day, ‘This is a lie.’ I have to live with the unfairness, and I can only prove it through results, actions, and my true self.”
Min continued, “There are many people who evade with lies, so I don’t trust words. I can’t tell if (words) are a momentary feeling or the true intention. The fruits reflect all of that,” and said, “The fruits that are created by enduring and not speaking out reveal a different picture, and everyone knows.”
She added, “If someone just talks well and the visible results are poor, then words become bubbles. In the end, it has to be shown through results,” and stated, “That’s why I think work is precious.”
Regarding the lawsuit with HYBE, she said, “I didn’t expect the fight to last this long, nor did I think it would turn into this kind of battle,” and expressed, “I hope the lawsuit ends soon and everything wraps up quickly, but time doesn’t flow according to my wishes.”
On the 20th of last month, Min Hee-jin announced her resignation from the board of directors of Ador, stating, “I plan to take necessary legal actions one by one regarding the numerous illegal activities of HYBE and its affiliates.”
Following Min Hee-jin, NewJeans also held a press conference on the 28th, stating, “Ador has neither the will nor the ability to protect NewJeans,” and announced that they would terminate their exclusive contract with Ador effective from midnight on the 29th. In response, Ador filed a lawsuit on the 3rd against NewJeans to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract.
