Ji-an from MBN's 'Single's Inferno 6' bowed her head in response to criticism of her inappropriate behavior on the show.
On the 28th, Ji-an posted a lengthy message on her social media, stating, "I would like to apologize to many who felt uncomfortable through the broadcast."
She wrote, "I did not fully consider that the comfortable and honest demeanor I thought I had could make others uncomfortable. I reflected on whether I had been living carelessly, even while knowing this," and added, "I sincerely regret all my immature words and actions. I deeply regret my impulsive behavior and the rudeness I showed to other participants. I was shocked by my own behavior, which I found hard to understand, and I have spent the time since in regret and reflection."
She continued, "All the discomfort caused to viewers is due to my shortcomings," and stated, "I will humbly accept the criticism and advice you have given and engrave it deeply in my heart. I will use this opportunity to become a more mature person."
Additionally, she expressed, "Through this message, I want to thank my fellow members, older brothers, and sisters. Thank you for always giving me sincere advice and encouragement. I will also become a younger sibling who can share positive energy," and added, "I hope you will watch over me, who is still lacking, with warm eyes."
Ji-an received criticism from viewers for her somewhat rude way of speaking, including using informal language, during her process of becoming a final couple with Chang-hyun on 'Single's Inferno 6'. After the broadcast, as negative comments poured in against Ji-an, the production team even closed the comment section of the relevant clip.
Later, Ji-an and Chang-hyun became 'Hyun-Ker' through the 'Cable Car Final Choice', but they broke up afterward and confessed.
