Kangmin of the group VERIVERY has announced a strong response to the spread of malicious rumors.

His agency, Jellyfish Entertainment (hereafter Jellyfish), stated on the 29th to MK Sports regarding the rumors about Kangmin circulating online, "This is completely untrue and a malicious falsehood that seriously damages the artist's reputation."

Jellyfish mentioned, "We previously announced our legal response policy regarding the infringement of rights of our artists and trainees on August 8, 2025," and added, "We are currently collecting evidence for legal action based on reports received through Jellyfish's official email, along with continuous online monitoring."

They continued, "Recently, we have confirmed that baseless rumors targeting our artist VERIVERY members have been indiscriminately spread and circulated through portal sites, online articles, various communities, and social media," expressing their anger, "These rumors are completely false and are malicious falsehoods that seriously damage the artist's reputation."

Jellyfish stated, "We prioritize the protection of our artists and will take strong legal action without leniency against the creation, distribution, and reproduction of malicious rumors," expressing a firm stance.

Finally, Jellyfish urged, "If you discover malicious posts or falsehoods about our artists, please report them to Jellyfish Entertainment's official email," and emphasized, "We will continue to do our best to protect the rights of our artists and will maintain a continuous and strong response to prevent damage caused by falsehoods."

On the 28th, a video was released on Chinese social media showing a man and woman engaging in intimate skinship in what appeared to be a bar room. Following this, netizens claimed that the man and woman in the video were Kangmin from VERIVERY and Julie from Kiss of Life, sparking unexpected dating rumors.
