KickFlip is releasing their new mini album ‘My First Flip’ today (22nd) and continues their activities as a ‘K-Pop Super Rookie’.
The JYP Entertainment rookie KickFlip is making a comeback with their third mini album ‘My First Flip’ and the title track ‘The Song I Sing for the First Time’ on September 22nd.
‘The Song I Sing for the First Time’ is an upbeat dance track based on pop-punk, featuring energetic synth sounds and guitar riffs. It expresses the moment of confessing feelings filled with a racing heart, conveying the fresh emotions of first love through KickFlip's energy.
The new album depicts a slightly awkward yet still cheerful first love in KickFlip's own way. The album includes a total of 7 tracks, starting with the title track ‘The Song I Sing for the First Time’, followed by ‘Band-Aid’, ‘Singularity’, ‘Again, Here’, ‘Gas On It’, ‘404: Not Found’, and ‘It’s a Secret That I Had a Nightmare’, with all members credited, showcasing their steadily growing musical potential since their debut.
KickFlip, who made a successful debut with their album ‘Flip it, Kick it!’ in January 2025, further defined the group's musical color with their second mini album ‘Kick Out, Flip Now!’ in May. As they welcome their first summer with KickFlip, they are making strides on global stages such as Lollapalooza Chicago, Summer Sonic 2025, and the 2025 TIMA (TMELive International Music Awards), aiming for even greater heights with their new mini album.
