Actresses Nam Bora and her sisters have drawn attention with their 'gimbap' and now with their 'plate' as well. During the preparation for the Gimcheon Gimbap Festival, they showcased an idea that considered the environment by using puffed rice instead of disposable plates, impressing the elderly and panelists on site, who praised it as a "plate that can also be a snack."

In the KBS 2TV entertainment show 'Newly Released Pyeon Restaurant' aired on the 12th, Nam Bora was seen researching gimbap for the festival with her two younger sisters in Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk.

After touring the Samyeong Dae Park in traditional hanbok attire, the three sisters began serious recipe testing, expressing their determination by saying, "We want to challenge it nationwide."

Nam Bora revealed, "I have wrapped gimbap up to 800 rolls," showcasing her 'large capacity skills' honed from growing up in a family of 13 siblings. The sisters quickly completed 'Sanchae Bibim Gimbap' and 'Jireh Black Pork Boiled Gimbap' and received preliminary evaluations from the village elders.

What particularly caught attention was the 'puffed rice plate.' The sisters entered with a large bowl full of gimbap and served it on puffed rice instead of disposable plates. Kim Kang-woo, who was watching in the studio, praised it, saying, "It helps the environment without using disposables," and Boom and Lee Jung-hyun also gave a thumbs up, saying, "The idea is the best." The elderly on site enjoyed the puffed rice served as a plate with gimbap, eating it like a 'crispy snack' and welcomed it as "novel."

Nam Bora announced, "I will participate with the 'Jireh Black Pork Boiled Gimbap,' which received the best response," hinting at her challenge for the Gimcheon Gimbap Festival taking place in October.

Meanwhile, 'Newly Released Pyeon Restaurant' airs every Friday at 8:30 PM.
