Actress Han Ga-in candidly shared her pain of miscarriage and the process of in vitro fertilization.
On the 4th, a video titled “After experiencing three miscarriages, what is the secret of Han Ga-in getting pregnant with twins through IVF?” was posted on her YouTube channel ‘Free Woman Han Ga-in’.
On that day, Han Ga-in prepared rice cake gifts at a rice cake shop in Apgujeong on a rainy day, saying, “I’m going to meet the doctor who helped me give birth to J and Joo through IVF. This person is the one I should be most grateful to in my life,” as she headed to the hospital.

Meeting the director of the fetal medicine center after seven years, Han Ga-in said, “I had the birth defect test done five times here, and today I learned for the first time that you were the one who developed that test. It’s amazing that you developed a test that all pregnant women in our country receive 30 years ago.”
Recalling her first pregnancy, she shared, “After 10 years of contraception, when I thought I should have a child, I got pregnant in just two or three months. As soon as the two lines appeared on the pregnancy test, Yeon Jeong-hoon and I cheered and hugged each other like in a drama. But looking back now, I realize I was too naive.”
After three miscarriages in the past, Han Ga-in had twins, J and Joo, through IVF. She expressed her unique feelings, saying, “Every time I went to the hospital, I felt uneasy, but today I wanted to come with a smile.”
