The MBC show 'Radio Star', airing on the 2nd, features a 'YouTube Star' special with Tablo, Tukut, Lim Woo-il, and Kim Won-hoon.
In a video released ahead of the broadcast, Tablo and Tukut of Epik High display their 23-year-long bickering chemistry, drawing attention.
Tablo reveals, "Tukut sometimes suddenly goes off the rails," sharing episodes from their early days of conflict.
Tablo mentions that their debut album did not receive much attention, leading them to write songs that could connect with the public, referencing 'Day of Peace'. 'Day of Peace' received the highest response since their debut, officially putting Epik High on the map.
However, during the promotions for 'Day of Peace', Tukut notably showed a grumpy reaction. Confused, Tablo asked Tukut in the car, "Are you unhappy with the activities?" to which Tukut, sitting in the back, kicked the seat and shouted, "I didn't want to do fake hip-hop!" causing the studio to burst into laughter.
In response, Tukut, with an awkward expression, reveals his true feelings from that time, explaining his concern that they might lean too much towards popularity during the formation of their group identity. Tablo jokes, "Tukut is the 'hip-hop guardian' who must protect hip-hop," eliciting more laughter.
Additionally, Tablo shares that Tukut once called their agency's president, declaring, "I can't do Epik High anymore. I don't want to be in this team. I want to disband." The agency president rushed over and responded to Tukut's statement, "There's no need to disband; it seems like just Tukut can leave," which also drew laughter.
