Hello, this is Jin Tae-hyun. Is everyone doing well?
I am truly at peace right now.
My wife held my hands tightly and prayed for me early in the morning.
I successfully completed the surgery around 11 AM on June 24, 2025.
After the surgery, Professor Kim Beop-woo personally came to the recovery room and held my hand, saying not to worry anymore.
Thanks to everyone who was concerned, the cancer cells in my body have now disappeared.
Thank you, I will not forget your support and prayers.
Reflecting on the months I coexisted with the word cancer, whether big or small, deep or shallow, I am grateful for the time that taught me a little more about how to live my life going forward.
It was a cancer that could be cured with surgery, but what if the situation had been different?
I am grateful and I want to say to all patients fighting cancer across the country that I will always be with you in prayer or through various forms of sharing. Stay strong.
There were countless supports before the surgery, but I especially want to thank our Lee Sook Camp team and our actor Kim Woo-bin, who I had never interacted with before.
Thank you to PD Kim Min-jong, writer Kim Tae-hee, and all the staff for taking good care of my condition and helping to create a great broadcast over the past few months.
Now, let's work harder and do better!!
Jang Hoon-yi! I had a successful surgery!! Don't worry!!
And thank you to Woo-bin, who, despite never having interacted with me, personally reached out to encourage me to overcome my illness.
I am embarrassed to say that I have a cancer that can be cured with surgery, but I will cherish the heart of sharing that worried about me and strive to be a good senior in the entertainment industry.
Let's support each other's activities and live well going forward.
Everyone, I will continue to live my life well.
I have no intention of wasting my life being trapped in the past.
I also have no time or intention to wallow in self-pity.
All time will eventually pass, and the beautiful moments that determine our lives are the one minute and one second that come right in front of us.
Holding hands with my beloved wife, I will live in anticipation of the challenges and brilliance of life that come with every minute and second.
It does hurt, but the surgery went well.
I am always grateful to God, who is everything to me, and now I will focus solely on recovery and soon run back to the playground.
I'm a marathoner.
