Director Hwang Dong-hyuk expressed his feelings about the 'Squid Game' spoiler controversy.

On the morning of the 9th, a press conference for the production of Netflix's 'Squid Game' Season 3 was held at Dragon City in Yongsan, Seoul.

Previously, Park Gyu-young sparked controversy by posting a photo suspected of containing spoilers for 'Squid Game' on social media in January.

On this day, Director Hwang Dong-hyuk said, "I was surprised when the photo was posted. I even asked why this happened. Since we can't blame a mistake until the end, we have to forgive the mistake and move forward, so I think of it as a happening and we got through it well."

He added, "There may have been viewers who were disappointed or upset, but I hope you understand that the spoilers won't significantly hinder your enjoyment, as there will be plenty of fun in the show."

He stated, "Preventing recurrence is not something that can be done legally, but I believe they know well that it should never happen again."

In relation to this, Park Gyu-young was also asked the same question but chose to remain silent.

'Squid Game' Season 3 tells the story of 'Gi-hun', who loses his best friend in a game he re-enters with his own purpose, and the 'Frontman', who hides his identity while infiltrating the game, as well as the final fates of the participants who survive in that brutal game.
