DK (real name Kim Dong-hyuk), a member of the group iKON, will enlist in the military.
His agency, 143 Entertainment, announced on the 9th, “DK has applied to the Army Military Band and has recently received the final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration. He is scheduled to enlist on July 28 to fulfill his duty to defend the country.”
They added, “Since many military personnel and their families will be present on the day of his entry into the training center, we will not hold any separate events to prevent safety accidents, and we ask for the understanding of the fans.”

DK will be the fifth member of iKON to enlist, following Kim Jin-hwan, Jung Chan-woo, Bobby, and Song Yun-hyung. Currently, Kim Jin-hwan, who enlisted first in iKON, was discharged on April 19.
