DJ DOC member Lee Ha-neul's side announced that they will file an additional lawsuit against singer Juvitrain and the representative of his agency, Basecamp Studio, for defamation and insult.
On the 20th, Lee Ha-neul's agency, Funkytown, stated, "We express serious concern regarding the ongoing defamation perpetrated by certain individuals and groups who are spreading false information about our artist, Lee Ha-neul," and released an official statement.
The agency reported that Juvitrain and his agency's representative, Mr. Lee, while working at Funkytown, continuously engaged in illegal activities including fraud, embezzlement, and obstruction of business, which disrupted the company's operations. "Despite their actions, they exploited Lee Ha-neul's goodwill, who mediated for a smooth resignation, to present unacceptable financial resignation conditions to the company, which led to their immediate dismissal," the agency explained.

They continued, "Those who harbored resentment filed an unfair dismissal relief application with the company, citing procedural issues, while fabricating evidence by piecing together various materials to report workplace harassment to the Ministry of Labor. Unfortunately, during the unfair dismissal relief review, the unfairness of their actions was not considered at all, and only procedural defects were judged. While the unfair dismissal relief application was recognized, fortunately, we were able to secure original and rebuttal materials regarding workplace harassment, leading to the recognition that all evidence submitted by them was fabricated, resulting in dismissal of their claims."
The agency criticized their behavior, stating, "The most unforgivable part of their actions is that they continue to slander and attack artist Lee Ha-neul, who tried to protect them until the end, in the same manner." They added, "Lee Ha-neul has actively clarified the situation through live broadcasts as a public figure, but as seen in the workplace harassment case, they continue to file lawsuits by selectively distorting some of his statements, adopting a 'let's catch one' approach."
Currently, Lee Ha-neul has received a total of four lawsuits filed against him by them at different investigative agencies, and among them, the case claiming that Lee Ha-neul defamed Juvitrain was dismissed without charges, but is currently under re-investigation due to the opposing party's objection.
The agency stated, "Funkytown has currently filed a lawsuit against Juvitrain and his agency's representative for fraud, embezzlement, destruction of electronic records, and obstruction of business, and we plan to file additional lawsuits for defamation through the dissemination of false information, threats, and insults." They emphasized, "We believe this matter is not a simple conflict but an act intended to systematically and long-term damage the artist's reputation, and Funkytown will spare no legal efforts to protect the rights of our artists and will respond firmly to baseless slander and false claims in the future."

Fearing that their illegal activities would be exposed if the issues with the company were publicized, they have been continuously harassing artist Lee Ha-neul mentally and socially by filing numerous lawsuits against him since shortly after their resignation.

We kindly ask the public not to be swayed by factually unfounded inflammatory claims.
Thank you.
