In the 17th episode of the reality food documentary 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2' (co-produced by MBN and Channel S), Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) embarked on a food trip to popular travel destinations near Seoul, Yangpyeong and Chuncheon, alongside the 'rising star' Choi Daniel.
They welcomed Jeon Hyun-moo's 'soul food' of the entertainment awards, Sundae-guk, and for the first time on 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan', they introduced the North Korean dish 'Hweiryeong Mandu', as well as the best restaurants to conquer 'Chuncheon Dakgalbi', exciting viewers at home. In particular, Jeon Hyun-moo and Choi Daniel shared their thoughts on dating rumors and marriage, showcasing their fantastic 'talk chemistry' that captivated the audience.
On this day, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube, who greeted each other at the stunning snowy landscape of Yangpyeong Galsan Park, declared, "Today, we will travel from Yangpyeong to Chuncheon, the youth train course for MZ generation." Jeon Hyun-moo introduced his soul food in Yangpyeong, saying, "This is the place I visited again after receiving the 'Entertainment Awards' in 2022," which excited Kwak Tube. The two settled in a restaurant where two of Jeon Hyun-moo's signed photos were displayed and enjoyed precious boiled pork with various cuts, including cheek, tongue, ear, and jaw, along with traditional Sundae-guk, exclaiming, "This is truly hexagonal taste."
After finishing their first meal warmly, Jeon Hyun-moo said, "Today, my eating friend is coming. He is a star I rediscovered and guided into the entertainment world," and set out to meet Choi Daniel. Shortly after, the three met and greeted each other warmly, while Kwak Tube revealed his 'fan heart' for Choi Daniel, experiencing a 'fan moment'. They then headed to a famous Hweiryeong Mandu restaurant, known as a 'holy place for riders'. After securing a table, they were served water kimchi with ice floating in it. Choi Daniel then put the water kimchi in his mouth and performed a hilarious 'kimchi show', exclaiming, "It's refreshing!" He even made everyone laugh by struggling after taking a bite of a hot dumpling. Kwak Tube, the 'fan', was greatly surprised by this unexpected behavior, and Jeon Hyun-moo predicted, "You will fall out of fandom today," causing a stir at the scene.
Next, the three tasted the clear broth 'Hweiryeong Mandu-guk' and the attractively spicy 'Hweiryeong Ttukbaegi', completing their first North Korean food mukbang. Following that, Jeon Hyun-moo said, "Let's find the 'real' stronghold of Chuncheon Dakgalbi," leading Kwak Tube and Choi Daniel to conduct a 'street interview'. After narrowing down several recommended restaurants from citizens, Jeon Hyun-moo mentioned, "There is also a local restaurant recommended by 'Chuncheon Ambassador' Alberto Mondi," and they headed to a 32-year-old traditional Dakgalbi restaurant.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, the three were immediately captivated as a special 'Chuncheon Dakgalbi' mixed with Dakgalbi and chicken innards was placed on a silver plate to cook. Suddenly, Jeon Hyun-moo shouted at Choi Daniel, "So what are you going to do, marriage!" and asked, "Did you ever feel excited about the Japanese actor Takada Kaho, who was your partner on the dating program?" Choi Daniel, taken aback, replied, "Yes, I felt excited. It was thrilling," providing the answer everyone wanted and turning the scene upside down.
Furthermore, Kwak Tube directly asked Jeon Hyun-moo, "Recently, there have been dating rumors with a 20-year-younger announcer. What do you think when you see your own dating rumors?" Jeon Hyun-moo began, "Whenever dating rumors arise, the first thought that comes to mind is that I feel sorry for that person." He continued, "I ask that person if they feel uncomfortable, and if they say it's okay, I leave it alone. I already don't care because I'm already a mess. These days, it's not easy for new announcers to get attention, so I'm glad that through these dating rumors, that person is getting noticed.
