‘Capsaicin Voice’ trot singer Kim Eui-young has signed an exclusive contract with DR Music Entertainment.
DR Music Entertainment is home to ‘Taekwondo Trotman’ Na Tae-joo, ‘Trot Vitamin’ Kang Ye-seul, and the global girl group Black Swan.
The agency DR Music Entertainment stated on the 24th, “We are very happy to have Kim Eui-young as part of our family. We will provide full support for Kim Eui-young to be active in various fields, and we ask for a lot of encouragement for the new appearances and activities she will showcase in the future.”
Kim Eui-young gained recognition for her skills by finishing 5th in the final of ‘Miss Trot 2’ in 2020, and she has recently been active with her new song ‘You’re the One’.
Additionally, Kim Eui-young recently topped the global K-pop voting site ‘Kpop Star’ and has been ranked 1st for three consecutive weeks in the ‘Favorite Trot Star’ weekly ranking, establishing herself as a leading popular trot female singer.
DR Music Entertainment's CEO Yoon Deung-ryong is a legendary entertainment producer who pioneered the Chinese wave with first-generation girl groups like Baby V.O.X in the 90s and 2000s. Recently, he has been nurturing the four-member K-pop girl group Black Swan, which is composed entirely of foreign members, and they are rising to the global pop market by topping iTunes charts in various countries.
