Comedian Kim Byeong-man expressed his gratitude to his wife who cared for his father in the past.

On the 20th, TV Chosun's 'Lover of Joseon' depicted Kim Byeong-man's daily life.

On that day, Kim Byeong-man went to greet his wife and his deceased parents. Kim Byeong-man's wife said, “When I started dating my husband in 2006, I became close with his mother and family, so I was doing well even without my husband. I thought, ‘Since I like my husband, I should naturally treat his parents well too.’”

Kim Byeong-man's wife mentioned, “When my husband was very busy, my father was in the hospital.” Kim Byeong-man added, “At that time, he was in stage 4 colon cancer and also had dementia. After the colon cancer surgery, my father's memory was mostly gone.”

Kim Byeong-man's wife helped with the caregiving in place of busy Kim Byeong-man. She said, “My mother-in-law was taking care of him, but since she was at the hospital all day, it was hard for her, and she couldn't eat comfortably. So after work, I would go and eat outside with my mother-in-law to lift her spirits.”

When Kim Byeong-man said, “Thank you. There’s no expression beyond 'savior',” his wife replied, “I just thought it was right to do what I could.”

Meanwhile, 'Lover of Joseon' airs every Monday at 10 PM.
