Regarding the reason for appearing on 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator', President Lee Jae-myung said, "When it comes to Chuseok, eating is important, right? Our country doesn't have many resources, so culture is an asset. K-pop and K-content are important, but the real core of culture is food. Once food is fixed in your mouth, it doesn't change easily. It has sustainability. It greatly helps in exporting Korean culture and growing Korea as an industry."

Before the cooking competition among the chefs, President Lee Jae-myung joked, "If possible, please adjust to her (First Lady Kim Hye-kyung). I completely lose in home politics."
In the competition themed 'K-food I want to promote to the world', chefs Choi Hyun-seok and Son Jong-won faced off. Chef Choi Hyun-seok presented a 'Hybrid Chicken' combining fried chicken and samgyetang, while Chef Son Jong-won showcased four dishes using pine nuts (pine nut porridge, barley shrimp, seopsan ginseng, and soybean powder dasik).
The victory went to Chef Son Jong-won. First Lady Kim Hye-kyung remarked, "When I meet various people abroad, in the past, I liked Korean food that catered to foreign tastes, but these days, they look for the most Korean things. If we promote more traditional items, the most Korean things will become the most global."
In the competition themed 'K-ingredients I want to promote to the world, Siraegi', chefs Jeong Ji-seon and Kim Poong faced off. Chef Jeong Ji-seon presented songpyeon and jeongippong using siraegi, while Kim Poong showcased 'Lee Jae-myung Pizza' topped with siraegi on nurungji dough.
President Lee Jae-myung and his wife were taken aback by Kim Poong's unusual cooking method, but they couldn't hide their admiration after tasting it. First Lady Kim Hye-kyung laughed and said, "Why is this so delicious?" and President Lee Jae-myung praised, "It's different from how it looks."
Finally, President Lee Jae-myung said, "Among Seollal and Chuseok, Chuseok is much more abundant. I hope it becomes a Chuseok where we meet many family members and create new hopes together."
