"Knowing Bros" has successfully wrapped up its 500th episode special.
The JTBC variety show "Knowing Bros" (hereafter "Ahyung") aired its "500th Episode Special" in two parts with 500 viewers on the afternoon of the 27th.
During the broadcast, the members played a game called "Guess My Name" with the viewers. The quiz master came on stage and asked the audience to guess his name. He stated, "My name is Kim Dae-dae-dae-dae," indicating that his name has five letters. He then provided a hint, saying, "My friends call me 'Kim Dae-dae-bori'."
The members guessed names like Kim Gwi-ri-bori and Kim Ha-neul-bori, but all were incorrect. At that moment, Lee Sang-min correctly answered, "Kim Eojji-bori!" The quiz master surprised everyone by revealing that his younger sister's name is "Kim In-gan Seung-ri."
He explained, "My father met a monk while walking in the mountains, who said that if you give your child a unique name, they will live well. So, I boldly named her Eojji-bori because she was so precious and beautiful." He continued, "My sister was a premature baby, born weighing less than 1 kg, but she was discharged healthy at 3.2 kg. The nurse held me and said, 'Your sister has achieved human victory. It's so great,' and that's how my sister got the name In-gan Seung-ri."

Following this, the highlight of the 500th episode special was the members' talent show. The members had previously discussed their performances, and Kim Hee-chul, Min Kyung-hoon, Lee Sang-min, Kang Ho-dong, Shin Dong, Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Soo-geun, and Kim Young-chul decided to perform as teams and solo acts.
First up, Kang Ho-dong and Shin Dong decided to dance to Aespa's "Next Level." In the rehearsal video, Kang Ho-dong appeared to show a bit of his belly while dancing. Notably, Kang Ho-dong was assigned the solo part of Giselle, and upon realizing this late, he exclaimed, "Did we decide on a solo part?" Shin Dong humorously asked him to show "Pigzel."
When Shin Dong said, "I would be nervous in front of 500 people," Ho-dong replied, "Then how nervous would I be?" showing his own nervousness.
The team, nicknamed "Dong Dong Shin Gi," showcased their "Next Level" performance in front of the audience. With the experience of idol Shin Dong, Kang Ho-dong made a strong impression, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. Ho-dong stated, "Our Dong Dong Shin Gi is always special, so we will come back again," hinting at another collaboration with Shin Dong.
Next was the stage of team "40cm," Seo Jang-hoon and Lee Soo-geun. The two reinterpreted Cool's "Aesang." Seo Jang-hoon hung laundry while Lee Soo-geun sang, "Don't stop me. My kind of love."
The audience responded with loud cheers to the stage that conveyed their ten-year friendship. When asked what was difficult during practice, Lee Soo-geun humorously replied, "It was hard being together."
The next combination was Lee Sang-min, Kim Hee-chul, and Min Kyung-hoon. While brainstorming a team name, Lee Sang-min suggested "Chojaemi," saying, "It has first marriage, remarriage, and single all in one." Hee-chul burst into laughter and expressed satisfaction with the team name, saying, "Without Ho-dong, this guy is flying." The Chojaemi team decided to perform Solid's "Holding the End of This Night," and Min Kyung-hoon wanted to show off his dancing skills by asking, "Are we going to dance?"
During the performance, Lee Sang-min narrated, "With your love, we have walked one step at a time, and before we knew it, we have taken 500 steps. While taking those steps, Kyung-hoon got married, and I found love and got married too. Now, Young-chul and Hee-chul need to get married as well. And Jang-hoon should find love and remarry like me,"
At that moment, the song transitioned to Solid's "Cheonsaengyeonbun," and Min Kyung-hoon showcased his unique dance moves. The cheerful performance of Chojaemi had the audience drawing hearts above their heads.
When asked if he liked the stage, Kim Hee-chul replied, "It feels different to perform with Chojaemi after being with Super Junior," expressing satisfaction with the stage. Min Kyung-hoon also said, "The stage is always fun. I enjoyed it a lot." Seo Jang-hoon honestly evaluated, "Chojaemi ends here. To get to a bigger stage, we need a bit more..."
Kim Young-chul concluded the final stage alone with K-Pop Demon Hunters' "Golden." He filled the stage with his explosive vocal power, receiving a standing ovation from the members.
Lee Teuk mentioned, "Our Ho-dong is crying a lot," revealing that Kang Ho-dong was in tears during Kim Young-chul's performance. In response, Young-chul said, "I couldn't watch. While singing 'Keduhun,' I felt like it was me, and Kyung-hoon said I started to shine. I felt like I would cry when I saw Kyung-hoon," struggling to continue his words. He then added, "I want to thank Kyung-hoon and wish all 500 members of the broadcast a shining life," as he concluded his speech.
Watching this, Seo Jang-hoon laughed and said, "Where is he going?" while Lee Soo-geun expressed disappointment, saying, "But still, with Kyung-hoon and 500 members? Following this, Lee Chan-won, who recorded the highest viewership for "Knowing Bros," performed a congratulatory stage. He said, "Congratulations on the 500th episode of Knowing Bros. Next, a special group stage prepared by the brothers was presented. The members concluded the 500th episode special with a chorus of "When Tomorrow Comes."
